Start your first tab

Create an account

Choose Create an account, then enter your email address, password, and password confirmation. Your password needs at least eight characters, and the two password fields need to match.

When your account is ready, TabComposer opens Your songs. This is your personal library, where every tab you save lives.

Open a blank tab

From Your songs, choose Open a blank tab. Start with the instrument, time signature, and tempo that fit your idea. Acoustic Guitar is selected by default, with a written tempo of 96 BPM.

Choose Start writing to open your score. You can name the song right away, then change its instrument, tuning, capo, key, timing, or written tempo later from Song setup.

• Choose 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 6/8, or 12/8 timing.
• Set a written tempo from 20 to 300 BPM.
• Use Advanced tuning when you need to name a custom set of one to twelve strings.

Find your way back

Saved tabs appear in Your songs with their title, instrument, tuning, and most recent update time. Choose a tab to reopen it exactly where you left off.

If you are signed out, TabComposer asks you to sign in before opening your library or a saved song.
